Golden Saffron - Warehouse Equipment

Fulton establishes links with suppliers of all kinds of assets. Certain markets such as materials handling, IT, and commercial vehicles are well established and sales aid funding can provide an excellent opportunity for suppliers to enhance service to customers as well as offering options on finance.

Golden Saffron is a newly established customer specialising in the import of saffron from Iran as well as Iranian delicacies. A new warehouse has been rented in Park Royal - providing an excellent distribution hub for Home Counties based companies. Golden Saffron required a new Fork Lift to enhanced warehouse facilities. Despite being a relatively new company Fulton were able to structure a Lease Purchase facility taking advantage of enhanced first year allowances for the customer and spreading the cost over 36 months, reducing cash flow impact.

All forms of Warehouse based assets are ideal for financing, racking, lifting, forklifts and storage. We are always keen to talk to both suppliers and users of these assets to help you grow your business. Call Fulton for a quote or consultation - we won't disappoint you.

Woodstyle Carpentry - Ney Edging Machine

Earlier this year Woodstyle Carpentry won extra business to make doors and cabinets from a major supplier. To fulfil this contract the business needed to increase capacity and took up an extra factory in Harlow having already exceeded capacity at its Forest Gate premises.

Fulton helped to fund this expansion with a Hire Purchase facility on a Ney Edging machine - this increased the automation within the factory and allowed greater volume throughput. A 5-year floating rate facility was granted allowing payments to be spread over the life of the machine. At a time when cash flow is crucial and can be very tight, this allowed investment whilst minimising cash flow impact. The facility linked to bank base rate allows the flexibility to repay earlier should the customer so desire.

SME - EPOS Funding

SME based in West London looking to expand on a locally based supermarket serving local community, predominantly Middle Eastern produce. Part of the expansion program was to increase management information output and after several meetings an ECS EPOS system was installed.

The installation, commissioning and training was spread over 6 weeks which meant that part payment had to be made to the supplier. Clear title has to be obtained by the funder and Fulton negotiated terms on behalf of the customer so that a title clause was included in the terms and conditions of sale. In effect with 90% cleared funds title was passed with a final 10% retainer. A finance lease was struck enabling the customer to offset the full cost of the asset against taxable profits in line with depreciation.

West London PLC - Reinforced Glass Production

A large PLC based in West London is looking to produce large-scale reinforced glass. EU regulations and an increased awareness of security following the Baltic Exchange bombing has increased demand in this specialised arena. One of the major barriers to entry in this competitive market is the need to invest front end in a mechanised production line with robotics. This is where Fulton can help. By structuring a tax effective Facility with structured payments - the cashflow of the customer can be mirrored by the repayments.

In addition tax incentives to invest in plant and equipment are taken advantage of with first year allowances on purchase facilities running at 40%. Fulton can also help with VAT deferment, which can be considerable on deals in excess of £1m.

With a foreign supplier - bespoke facilities ensure that front end discounts are not missed by the customer.

West End Based Accountants - Regent Street Office Refurbishment

Long established west end based accountants looking to refurbish a prestigious Regent Street address. As well as significant software spend the whole of one floor needed air conditioning installing. This took the form of removable units and ducting. The removable units were identifiable, durable and removable - a good guide as to whether something is fundable via instalments. The ducting was not removable once installed and in fact became part of the fabric of the building.

Fulton were able to place a lease purchase facility to accommodate the units and a commercial loan to pick up the ducting costs. The Lease Purchase facility allows the practice to claim writing down allowances and offset interest against taxable profits making this a tax efficient facility. The Commercial Loan and the Lease Purchase facility were to run concurrently for ease of admin and in effect making one cost for the investment.

New Business - IT Equipment & Laptop Computers

New established marketing company looking to upgrade their technology and specifically lap top computers. An issue that we faced as asset funders was the supplier only being able to order the equipment once paid and prior to delivery. Many finance companies can only pay out once they have serial numbers. By using a specialist IT /Technology funder Fulton via a safeguard letter was able to pay out prior to the kit being despatched. Serial numbers were supplied after to allow identification.

Fulton's expertise was second to none allowing up front payment in a sector notorious for fast turnaround times and onerous contract terms.
